Feeling Blue

No I'm not feeling sad or down. I was just going over some of my old pics and I found this pic I took of my cousins neighbors house. Many of the pics from the night were full of energy and action but this provided a nice counterpoint to the craziness that was the 4th of July.

Such as it is with life. Whenever it seems that life gets too crazy, I need to take a step back and find something mellow to help find a sense of balance and normality.

The Fires of La Canada

Had to run up to Montrose and snapped these pictures of the La Canada fire. So far I believe the fire is at 0% containment and the best estimates state that it won't be quelled until sometime next week.

Chinatown

This was my first actual photo day that I planned with some friends. Starting off the day with some dim sum and Tsingtao, we battled our way through the day despite the oppressive heat. It was a very fun time and I'm looking to schedule another one soon.

A Quick Getaway

It was a long work week and what I needed most was to chill out and relax. As luck would have it my cousin was going to his parents house out in Palm Desert for the the weekend and told my buddy Jason, my girlfriend Theary and I to join him, his fiance and another couple for a night out in the desert. Despite the two hour drive out there, it was a weekend that was full of great and fun moments. Plus a hefty amount of beer which is always a plus.
